The Ron Todero Award is awarded by the men’s section chairmen to someone who has made a significant contribution to the men’s section in the current season. The award is named in honour of club life member Ron Todero who served as club president for 4 years and men’s chairmen for 9 years.

The John Henry Shield is awarded to the Men’s Premier League Best and fairest player as voted by their peers throughout the season. The award is named in honour of club life and founding member John Henry who was also the first winner of this award in 1974. John Henry has worked in many roles within the club including 10 years as executive secretary.

The Colt Award recognises and encourages very talented young players playing senior men's hockey at Doncaster Hockey Club. The winner must: be under the age of 21 (as at January 1st the year of the award); not have been suspended during the season; have played a minimum of 12 senior club games; and represent the Doncaster Hockey Club in a positive light at all times.
