Doncaster Hockey Club offers informal social Midweek Ladies Hockey program. New participants are warmly welcomed, and all skills and fitness levels are catered for. Current players are a mixture of “stay-at-home mums” (some of whom have only recently been introduced to hockey through their children playing in our Juniors), retired women’s players, ladies who haven’t played since school days, uni students and part-time workers. The aim is to be flexible around work, family and life, so you don’t have to attend every week. Hockey sticks and shin pads are available to borrow if required. Free coaching and assistance is also available during the sessions.

Donny, as we are known, loves welcoming new families and helping them to develop a lifelong love of hockey, whilst getting to know us better to see if we are the right club for them and their children.
Our wonderful H2H Coordinator, Rae, the mother of one of our lovely girls, Megan, who began her hockey journey at the club as part of our H2H program more than 10 years ago, helps our youngest players and their families find their feet at Donny. She will welcome you personally when you first step through our gate and is available at all times to answer any questions and/or resolve any issues you or your child may have. Feel free to get in touch with her at any time.
Donny has its own fully stocked Pro-Shop onsite and our Pro-Shop Manager, Kym, or one of our coaches, will help your child find the stick and shin that is right for them.
